handicap
a) Hole play
Before starting a hole play in a competition with handicap , the players should check each other's handicaps. If a player starts a hole play after having declared a higher handicap than he is entitled to and this affects the number of handicap strokes to be awarded or claimed, he is disqualified; otherwise the player must finish with the handicap he has declared.
b) Counting game
For each round of a competition with handicap, the applicant must ensure that his handicap is entered on his scorecard before submitting it to the game management . If no handicap is entered before submission (Rule 6-6b) or if the handicap entered is higher than the handicap to which the applicant is entitled and this affects the number of handicap strokes received, he is disqualified for the handicap competition; otherwise the stroke count applies.
Note: The player is responsible for knowing on which holes handicap strokes are granted or claimed.
