Playing time and player groups
a) Playing time ( start time )
The player must play at the time set by the match management.
b) Player groups
In the counting game, the applicant must remain in the group assigned by the match management for the entire round unless the match management permits or subsequently authorizes a change.
PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF RULE 6-3: Disqualification.
(Best ball and four-ball game - see Rules 30-3a and 31-2).
Note: The Director of Golf may impose the following competition condition (Rule 33-1): If a player arrives ready to play within five minutes of his starting time, he incurs a hole loss on the first hole in stroke play and a two-hole penalty on the first hole in stroke play. This penalty does not apply if there are circumstances that would have justified the lifting of the disqualification penalty without this competition condition.
