The Turkish Ladies Open is a golf tournament in Turkey, which is part of the Ladies European Tour. The event was first held in 2008 and has been played at the National Golf Club in Belek ever since. The National Golf Club was the first in Belek. Today there are over 15 golf courses in a very small area and Belek has developed into an Eldorado for European golf tourists. The Turkish Ladies Open was canceled in 2009 due to a lack of sponsors. In 2010, however, the tournament was reinstated in the calendar of golf tournaments in Turkey.
