The Canadian Open is one of the oldest tournaments in golf. This golf tournament has been held since the Royal Canadian Golf Association was founded in 1904. The tournament was only partially suspended during the First World War and the Second World War. The Canadian Open is part of the Canadian Golf Tour as well as the US PGA Tour. Legendary golfers have already entered their names in the winners' lists of this golf tournament: Walter Hagen, Tommy Armour, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Bobby Locke, Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Greg Norman and Tiger Woods.
