"If the partners play one or more strokes in the wrong order, the corresponding strokes are nullified and the party incurs a penalty of two strokes. The party must rectify his mistake by playing a ball in the correct sequence as close as possible to the place from which he first played in the wrong sequence (see Rule 20-5).
If the party plays a shot on the next tee without first correcting his error or, if it is the last hole of the round, leaves the green without first announcing his intention to correct the error, the party is disqualified."².
