The golf counter

Geschrieben von: Christoph Knapp | |

A golf counter in golf can also be referred to as a marker or scorer. This usually refers to a fellow player in a tournament who records the strokes of another player. The golf counter is always determined by the game management responsible for a competition or by the computer, which is responsible for putting together the flight. A golf counter does not necessarily have to be a fellow player, competitor or flight partner. In principle, a neutral person can also be appointed to record the score of a golfer or competitor. However, this person may not be a course judge or a member of the match management. At the end of a round of golf, a golf counter must always sign the player's scorecard, also known as a scorecard.
