The golf swing path during a golf swing describes the angle between the body and the shaft during the golf swing. The body itself and the arms of a golfer have the greatest influence on the golf swing path. For example, a swing path can run from the outside to the inside. With a neutral position of the club face this would lead to a so-called pull. A golf swing path from the inside to the outside with a right-angled club face results in a so-called push. The swing path should not be confused with the swing plane. Swing path and swing plane can be different from each other and despite a less than ideal golf swing path, it is still possible to swing the golf club on a good plane at the same time.
