The golf club face angle describes the club face angle of the club face and is referred to as loft. The driver has the lowest loft, usually between 8.5 and 13 degrees. The highest loft is a so-called lob wedge with between 58 and 62 degrees. The different degrees ensure different ball flight heights and lengths.
