Golf- Rim- Out

Geschrieben von: Christoph Knapp | |

Golf- Rim- Out is an English term that can be loosely translated into German as "ausgelippt". This means that a golf ball touches the hole when putting, but does not fall in. The ball usually runs along the edge of the hole and often makes a complete circle around the hole before coming to rest again between the player and the hole. The golf rim-out is probably one of the most annoying shots in golf, as only a few millimetres can make the difference between success and failure. In most cases, the speed of a "flipped" ball is not correct, i.e. it is slightly too high or the club alignment was chosen too far outside the hole.
