Golf- PGA is the abbreviation for Professional Golfer's Association. All golf professionals, playing pros (professional players) and teaching pros (golf instructors) are members of this umbrella organization. The association is a professional organization that represents the interests of male and female golf professionals. The Golf PGA also organizes training and further education for golf professionals, tournaments and much more. Many countries now have their own PGA, which mainly looks after the professionals working in the respective country. In Germany, this is the PGA of Germany. Most PGAs in Europe are also members of the PGA of Europe. This recommends general standards for the management and content of a PGA.
