The golf marker

Geschrieben von: Christoph Knapp | |

A marker in golf is also called a counter or scorer. This usually refers to a fellow player in a tournament who records the strokes of another player. The golf marker is always determined by the match director of a competition. This does not necessarily have to be a fellow player, but is generally not a course judge. A golf marker also designates the tee marker of a golf hole. These have different colors and positions depending on gender and skill level and are placed on the teeing grounds to indicate the area from which the player may tee off. As a rule, white golf markers are for male pros and yellow golf markers for men amateurs, while black golf markers are for female pros and red golf markers for women amateurs. .
