Golf interlocking handle

Geschrieben von: Christoph Knapp | |

The golf interlocking grip in golf refers to gripping the golf club with eight fingers. Eight fingers because the little finger of the right hand is interlocked with the index finger of the right hand in right-handed golfers. This interlocking of the two fingers means that they have little influence on holding the club, but results in a very compact and uniform position of the two hands. This unit of the golf interlocking grip provides the necessary calm and stability in the hands to be able to control the club during the golf swing. The most prominent player to use this grip is world number one Tiger Woods. Many golfers find the grip somewhat uncomfortable, although this is usually due to the incorrect grip pressure of the other fingers. The golf interlocking grip is the same as the so-called overlapping grip and the choice of grip depends on each player individually, depending on sympathy and feeling.
