Nowadays, most shafts for golf clubs are made from golf graphite. This material therefore has the best properties to withstand the conditions of the game of golf. In addition to its high flexibility, the material is also highly wear-resistant and its low weight makes it very comfortable to play, especially for less experienced golfers. But even better golfers are now increasingly turning to graphite shafts, as they are easier on the joints than steel shafts and are now also available in various degrees of flex for different swing speeds. The advantage of conventional steel shafts, however, is that the golfer receives better feedback on well-hit balls in the sweet spot than with golf graphite. When buying a golf graphite shaft, however, it is important to bear in mind that there are very big differences in quality. Ask your golf instructor or specialist dealer about the right material for you.
