Golf club is the English term for golf clubs. Golf clubs are available in a wide variety of designs. There are special golf clubs for children and teenagers, for ladies, for men and for seniors. The main difference lies in the length of the club and the flexibility of the shaft. There are two types of shaft, graphite or steel. Steel shafts are slightly more stable and allow a more precise ball flight, giving the golfer a better feel at impact. However, this is only pleasant and helpful if the ball is hit in the sweet spot. Otherwise, graphite shafts are more comfortable to play, forgive minor deviations in accuracy and are therefore the better choice for amateur golfers in particular. The second difference between a golf club, regardless of the shaft, is the material of the club head. The iron heads consist mainly of iron, the so-called woods used to be made of wood, but nowadays they are also made of metal or graphite.
