Golf- Cavity- back

Geschrieben von: Christoph Knapp | |

Golf cavity back is the term used to describe the design of an iron in which a large part of the mass is shifted to the edge of the club head. This is achieved by hollowing out the back of the club head. The result is a larger sweet spot, which in turn makes it easier to hit, especially in comparison to classic blades. With these, the weight distribution is almost evenly spread over the entire club head. The golf cavity back is therefore very popular with beginners and mid-handicap golfers. However, single handicappers and professionals still largely prefer the more classic club head shapes, as these provide better feedback to the player when the golf ball is hit cleanly.
