Behavior in the rain
What is the correct behavior when it rains on the golf course?
Unlike a thunderstorm, there is no reason to interrupt a round of golf or cancel a tournament when it is raining. When it is raining on the course, it is important to wear golf clothing and to protect your golf equipment. Special pants, jackets, rain hats and all-weather gloves ensure that the golfer stays dry. An umbrella, ideally with an umbrella holder attached to the golf trolley , lots of towels to dry hands and club grips and a cover, also known as a rain cover, ensure that you can enjoy the game even in the rain.
If you have the opportunity, you should have a caddy with you on the course when it rains. This can dry the wet utensils in accordance with the rules of conduct when playing golf, so that the player can always keep his hands and grips dry. This is probably the most important key to a successful game of golf in the rain.
