Does playing golf correctly also mean that you have to improve your handicap?
Improving your handicap in golf is usually only possible in tournaments. Some golf courses also allow you to improve your handicap in private rounds of golf, the so-called EDS (Extra Day Score). However, this must be registered in advance and is subject to strict rules.
The -36 handicap hurdle can only be achieved in a tournament. From handicap -18 downwards, you can improve your handicap, but now only in tournaments. Whether an Extra Day Score is played on a golf course and members can improve or worsen their handicap in golf on such days is always the responsibility of the respective course.
