The Finnair Masters Golf Tournament has been played at Helsinki Golf Club since 2005. The first event was won by Lisa Holm Sorensen from Denmark with an overall score of 2 under par. Golf tournaments on the Ladies European Tour are also very popular with German professional golfers. German tour player Bettina Hauert was also able to add her name to the list of winners at the Finnair Masters in 2007.
