The AT&T National is one of the youngest international golf tournaments on the US professional golf tour. The tournament has only been an integral part of the tournament calendar since 2007. South Korean K.J. Choi was the first winner of the AT&T National. As one of the very few international golf tournaments in professional golf, the AT&T National is played in stableford mode. Incidentally, the main sponsor of the tournament is the Tiger Woods Foundation.
