Distribution of specifications - DGV golf rules

"The game management must announce the distribution of the handicaps over the holes."²

The distribution of handicaps in golf defines how the difficulty levels of the individual golf holes are distributed to the individual player's handicap. Initially, all 18 holes on a golf course have a handicap between 1 and 18. According to the official DGV golf rules, handicap 1 is the most difficult hole on the course and handicap 18 is the easiest hole on the course. The lower the handicap on a hole, the more Stableford points, or handicap points, a golfer receives. Further information on the DGV handicap and competition system can be obtained from your golf club or directly from the German Golf Association.
