The halved or split hole - DGV golf rules

"A hole is halved if both parties hole out with the same number of strokes.

If a player has holed in and his opponent can halve the hole with a shot, but the player incurs a penalty after holing in, the hole is halved. "²

The halved or split hole golf rule is, of course, a rule of the hole competition form of golf. In this golf game, two players or two parties compete directly against each other. The aim is to win each hole of golf. A hole can either be split, as described above in the 2-2 halved hole rule, or it can be won or lost. The winner of the golf hole competition is the player who has more holes ahead than there are holes left to play on the round.
