Playing from the wrong tee - DGV Rules of Golf

"The provisions of Rule 11-4 apply."²

If a golf ball is played from the wrong tee, it must be played again with the corresponding penalty strokes in accordance with Rule 11-4. Playing from the wrong tee should therefore be avoided as far as possible, not only in accordance with the official rules of golf.
