Ball in the hole - DGV golf rules

"If any part of the ball protrudes beyond the edge of the hole, the player shall have sufficient time to reach the hole without avoidable delay and a further ten seconds to determine whether the ball is at rest. If the ball has not fallen into the hole by then, it is deemed to be at rest. If the ball subsequently falls into the hole, it is deemed to have been potted by the player with the last stroke and he must add a penalty stroke to his stroke count for the hole; otherwise there is no penalty under this rule.
(Unreasonable delay - see Rule 6-7.)"²

According to the Official Rules of Golf, the golf ball is in the hole when it is in the hole and no longer moving. After executing the putt, the player has time to run towards the ball without delay and then another 10 seconds to wait for the ball to fall into the hole. If the ball still falls into the hole after these 10 seconds, this is counted as a stroke or penalty stroke, but according to the rules of golf, the ball is considered to be holed.
