Off the tee - DGV golf rules

a) Hole play
If a player plays a ball from outside the tee at the start of a hole, this is not penalized, but the opponent may immediately demand that the player cancel the shot and play a ball from inside the tee.

b) Counting game
If a competitor plays a ball from off the tee at the start of a hole, he incurs a penalty of two strokes and must then play a ball from inside the tee tee.

If the applicant plays a shot from the next tee without having corrected his error or, if it is the last hole of the round, leaves the green without first announcing his intention to correct his error, he is disqualified.

The stroke from off the tee and any further strokes taken by the competitor on the hole before he has rectified the error shall not count towards his stroke count.
