Are rule violations documented in accordance with golf etiquette?
The documentation of rule violations is the responsibility of every golf course. However, it is up to each golf club or golf course to decide for itself whether to document rule violations . There is no official obligation on the part of the golf association to document rule violations. However, the DGV, as well as most golf clubs, has a register in which gross breaches of rules or etiquette are documented. This makes it easier to hold repeat offenders accountable or to monitor any course bans or other requirements.
