The Golf Rabbit

Geschrieben von: Christoph Knapp | |

Every golfer has been a golf rabbit at some point. Golf rabbit means rabbit when translated from English into German. The name rabbit originates from the zigzag course of golf balls, which jump and hop across the golf course like fleeing rabbits. This is especially the case with beginners who do not yet have the regularity and consistency when hitting the golf ball. Thus, a golf rabbit is the wild back and forth of the golf balls when playing on the course. The term golf rabbit is a rather positive description of a golf novice and reflects a certain sympathy. In contrast, terms such as hacker tend to have negative connotations and are often used in a derogatory way towards beginners.
