The Golf Quit

Geschrieben von: Christoph Knapp | |

The slowing down of the club head before impact is known as a golf quit. This term is certainly one of the lesser-known golf vocabularies, but technically speaking, the golf quit is an important aspect of the golf swing. Very good players often use the golf-quit to specifically dose shots, while amateur golfers usually break off the swing too early and thus initiate the slowing down of the club head too soon. This leads to a loss of length or to the golf ball not being hit properly. It is therefore extremely important for these golfers to always finish their swing in order to avoid reducing the club head speed too early.
