The term golf hazards appears in the Rules of Golf. There are two types of obstructions, the movable golf obstructions and the immovable golf obstructions. Movable golf hazards may be moved aside without penalty without moving the ball, while immovable golf hazards may not be moved closer to the flag without penalty.
