The golf halves

Geschrieben von: Christoph Knapp | |

If two players or two teams play the same score on a hole in a match play game, the hole is said to be halved or split. The difference between a hole competition and a counting game is that the golfers compete directly against each other and have the chance to win, lose or halve the hole at every hole. In the counting game, on the other hand, golfers do not compete directly against each other, but ultimately against the golf course. Although there are also winners here, there is no elimination according to the knockout system. If there is a tie in a hole competition, which is known as an all-square, play continues until one player wins the next hole. Golf halves ultimately help no player to win the game, it must be played to the end until one player wins.
