In order to maintain the flow of play on difficult golf holes, so-called golf dropping zones are installed. There, the ball is dropped with an upright stance and outstretched arm within these markings. Golf dropping zones are usually marked with white lines on the ground and a corresponding sign. Zones that are permanent are usually specifically described in the course rules and require golfers to comply with them. In most cases, golf dropping zones make it easier to continue playing on a golf hole, especially in comparison to the procedure normally required. A golf dropping zone is used in professional golf, but mainly in amateur golf. Usually when dropping according to the general rules makes it almost impossible for most golfers to continue playing. This means that you usually lose less distance than usual with a dropping zone.
