For various reasons, such as lack of space or other conceptual measures, golf DND courses are about designing fairways that can be used twice. A golf DND course usually has nine fairways with 18 greens. The fairways are therefore used twice, but there is still a difference in the course due to two different greens. In some cases, different tees are also installed and used. A golf course with a full 18 holes requires around 70 hectares of land. A golf DND course, on the other hand, requires no more than 30 to 40 hectares for construction. A DND concept is particularly interesting for 9-hole golf courses, as it makes the course more interesting for golfers and provides more variety than conventional 9-hole courses. There are now also courses where there are more than twice as many tees as fairways and greens. This new type is an extreme form of the golf DND concept.
