The Golf Clubhead

Geschrieben von: Christoph Knapp | |

The English term golf clubhead is referred to as a club head in German. A club head is available in different materials. The most common materials are iron for irons, metal or graphite for woods or hybrids. Many putter heads also contain inlays made of other, softer materials, which are intended to provide a better feel when putting. The club heads of the individual club types therefore also differ in their shape. A typical feature of irons is a narrow club head and a different loft angle of the individual club faces. This difference is reflected in the different numbering, which in turn is engraved on the sole of the golf club heads. The wooden heads can usually be easily distinguished from the irons by their pronounced round head shape and naturally also have different loft angles.
