Keeping tee time
Is it possible to postpone tee times in accordance with golf behavior?
In private rounds of golf, you do not necessarily have to adhere to the tee time. However, it is possible that you may still have to pay the green fee, i.e. the course usage fee, and depending on the occupancy of the golf course, you may not receive a replacement tee time. The issue of tee time is probably handled differently in every golf club and on every golf course. You should therefore always obtain information directly from the golf club secretary. Incidentally, a set tee time at a golf tournament cannot be postponed under any circumstances. As soon as the start list is published, it is officially binding. Of course, you can still cancel a tee time, but in most cases you will still have to pay the tournament fees. Furthermore, this should really only happen in the event of illness or other unforeseeable situations. Bad weather, for example, should not be a reason to cancel a tournament at short notice.
