According to golf etiquette, what is the correct way to behave when driving a golf cart?
It is always important to drive the cart over the golf course at an appropriate speed, just like on the road. Steep inclines in particular can cause the golf cart to tip over. Such maneuvers or others that could endanger the occupants must be avoided. Special care is required here. But it is not only the safety of the golfer that must be taken into account, the protection of the golf course is also a priority. Tee-offs, greens, pre-greens and obstacles may not be driven on. Heavy braking and extreme bends would damage the grass. Some golf courses have special cart paths which may not be left by golf carts. Please always observe the current rules of conduct before driving on the golf course, where a buggy is permitted and where it is not.
