Description
This high performance bladeputter from Nickel Putter and the Two Metal series impresses with its high MOI (moment of inertia) and its stability in the follow-through. The putter head is face balanced and reinforced in the outer areas with a special brass alloy weighting. The insert part of the weight construction creates very good ball contact, which has a positive effect on roll and feedback at impact. The light patina that develops on brass over time is a design element.
Construction:The horseshoe-shaped brass weight construction, which also forms the insert, shifts the weight of the putter outwards and forwards at the same time. This brass body is completely encapsulated with aluminum in a new, very complex special process, so that the aluminum encloses the brass body seamlessly. The result is a highly compact TWO METAL connection with no air or adhesive inclusions. The striking face is then milled flush using the latest CNC technology. The result: a putter of the highest precision.
Putter test: GolfTest USA, an independent testing institute for golf products (cf. Stiftung Warentest), carries out an annual putter test. The TWO METAL 109 will be submitted to the 2010 putter test.
World first: infinitely variable grip adjustment:
All NICKEL putters are equipped with a longitudinally adjustable grip from 31 to 37 inches. However, it is also possible to adjust the grip transversely, making it easy to correct frequent incorrect putts in one direction. The option of adjusting the grip lengthwise and crosswise enables an optimum, completely individual grip setting, which gives you even more confidence when putting.
