Tabeca: A success story from Chicago

Tabeca is a young company formed through a partnership between Reiner Wallbaum, a designer, and Mirko Stange, an entrepreneur. The two first met when Reiner was working as a product designer and Mirko as a consultant for a biomedical diagnostics company. Reiner had already developed several unlicensed products at that time. Mirko possessed the business acumen needed for the competitive world of biomedical startups and an insatiable curiosity. This combination led to the launch of the Tabeca brand.

The tabeca product line is also supported by Reiner and Mirko's friends. They extend their special thanks to Dr. Alvaro Remus and Dominik Sprenger, who provided legal advice and expertise regarding trademark and patent law. This was essential to protect their unique products as effectively as possible. Furthermore, tabeca would not be operating in Germany without Jennifer Scott, an old friend from Mirko's time in North Carolina, who spearheaded the translations, website design, and logo creation.
