Legal guarantee

Official EU notice on the legal guarantee of conformity
LEGAL GUARANTEE Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union. Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods: do not match the description; do not function as intended. Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer: free repair or free replacement; in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement. Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year. For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller. europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees What to do if you receive non-conforming goods: 1 Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue; 2 Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement. Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.

Individual golf irons are available with different lofts

  • After the long clubs such as drivers, woods and hybrids for long shots from the tee and fairway, this Golf24.com subcategory takes us into the mid-range and short game with irons. The closer we get to the green and the hole, the less interesting long shots naturally become: precision is increasingly called for. To make this possible, golf has so-called individual irons.

Each iron has a higher loft and can therefore be used for ever shorter distances. In amateur golf, we usually use the following:

    • 2-iron: loft of 18°
    • 3-iron: loft of 21°
    • 4-iron: loft of 24°
    • 5-iron: loft of 27°
    • 6-iron: loft of 31°
    • 7-iron: loft of 35°
    • 8-iron: loft of 39°
    • 9-iron: loft of 44°

Materials of individual golf irons

Typical individual golf irons for amateurs are cast because of their value for money. Nevertheless, the classic traditional irons are often still forged. If you want to treat yourself, however, you shouldn't always look at the price. Much more important is being able to handle the club. That's why it is important not to over- or underestimate yourself. Get advice from an expert when buying a new club; ideally, of course, your golf pro would give you that advice.

After the design of the clubhead, choosing the right shaft is always interesting and of great importance. Today, iron shafts are divided into steel or graphite. Here too, your current swing, your level of play and your personal playing style are decisive.

Individual golf iron fitting

Why not simply have an iron set fitted? That way you can get the very most out of a club. Fitting allows even greater ball control and confidence with the golf ball. When buying an iron set, it is then usually easy to find the perfect clubs. Here again: have yourself assessed by a pro and simply pass the data on to us. Within 1 to 2 weeks your individual golf iron or iron set will then be delivered to your home.
