The so-called Prague variant is a form of poker. In this game, stakes are distributed to the individual golf holes and then played out. When all players have hit their golf balls, each player has the right to double their stake after the corresponding announcement. The opponents now have the opportunity to quadruple, after which the player who doubled has the right to octuple again. This type of bet is called "Kontra" and "Re" in poker. The game can be played either with a maximum bet of eight times or, by agreement, with unlimited doubling rights.
