The US Senior PGA Championship is one of the biggest championships in professional senior golf. Like many other important golf tournaments in America, the event is organized by the Professional Golfers' Association of America. The US Senior PGA Championship is part of the US Champions Tour and, since 2007, the European Seniors Tour. Incidentally, the first US Senior PGA Championship was played in 1937 at the legendary Augusta National Golf Club. The winner was the American Jock Hutchison.
