The Scandinavian Masters are always played at the end of July or beginning of August each year. Important golf tournaments in Sweden are always a crowd puller for golf-loving Swedes. The Scandinavian Masters is the only European Tour event in Scandinavia and, with prize money of around 1.6 million euros, is one of the less important tournaments on the European Tour.
