The Golf PGA Championship golf tournament is organized by the PGA of America. The golf tournament is one of the four major golf tournaments organized as part of the PGA Tour. The PGA Championship Golf Tournament was played for the first time in 1916 at the Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, New York. The winner of the PGA Championship Golf Tournament in 1916 was Jim Barnes from England. Nowadays, the popular golf tournament is played on many different golf courses in the USA. In 2010, the German Martin Kaymer won the Golf PGA Championship. This made him only the second German after Bernhard Langer to win a major golf tournament.
