The ANZ Ladies Australia Masters is one of the major golf tournaments in Europe that is played in Australia. However, the tournament has only been part of the European Ladies Tour since 2001. Between 1997 and 2000, it was an event on the LPGA Tour, the American women's professional tour. The tournament was first played over 54 holes in 1990. It has been known as a 72-hole event since 1994. Australia's successful proette Karrie Webb has won the Ladies Australian Masters seven times.
