The Hong Kong Open is jointly organized by the Asian Tour and the European Tour. This golf tournament has existed since 1959 and has been part of the European Tour since 2001. The Hong Kong Open is usually played towards the end of the year, usually in November or December. Many of the world's most famous golfers have won the tournament, including Bernhard Langer, José María Olazábal, Greg Norman, Tom Watson, Padraig Harrington, Colin Montgomerie and Ian Woosnam.
