The Hessian Golf Association is based at Lichtensteinstraße 7 in 60322 Frankfurt.

The Hessischer Golf-Verband e.V. is responsible for organizing all regional golf championships and golf in Frankfurt as well as the whole of Golf Hessen. Championships for junior golf, ladies, men and seniors are organized annually by the Golf Association in Hesse. Whether individual competitions or team competitions, the sport of golf in Hessen has been at the forefront of the Hessian Golf Association for years. The first Hessen champions were crowned back in 1971. The association has been around for just as long. The Hessian Golf Association can therefore look back on quite a long tradition and is one of the older state golf associations of the German Golf Association. The famous Hessen Cup has also been held since the origins of the association in 1971. The Hessen Cup is a team competition as part of the Hessian Ladies' and Men's Championships. The first Hesse Cup was held in Wiesbaden. The winning team at that time was the Hanau Golf Club. The competition was not held from 1983 to 1987. Today, golf in Frankfurt is the center of all golf in Hessen!
