a) Violation of rules by a partner
A party is disqualified from the match if one of the partners incurs the penalty of disqualification under any of the following rules:
- Rule 1-3 Agreement not to apply rules.
- Rule 3-4 Refusal to apply rules
- Rule 4 Racket
- Rule 5-1 or 5-2 The ball
- Rule 6-2b Default
- Rule 6-4 Caddie
- Rule 6-6b Signing and submitting the scorecard
- Rule 6-6d Incorrect number of strokes for the hole
- Rule 6-7 Unreasonable delay, slow play
- Rule 7-1 Practicing before or between rounds
- Rule 11-1 Touching down the ball
- Rule 14-3 Artificial aids, improper equipment and improper use of equipment
- Rule 22-1 Ball assisted play
- Rule 31-3 The gross stroke counts to be scored not attributed individually
- Rule 33-7 Disqualification penalty imposed by the match director
b) Infringement by both partners
A party is disqualified from the match
(I) if either partner incurs the penalty of disqualification for a breach of Law 6-3 (Playing Time and Player Groups) or Law 6-8 (Interruption of Play); or
(II) if each partner commits a breach of the rules on the same hole that is penalized by disqualification from the hole or the competition.
c) Only for the hole
In all other cases, a breach of the rules that leads to disqualification only has the effect of disqualifying the competitor for the hole in question.
