"The match management must determine the playing times and, in the counting game, set up the groups in which the competitors must play.
If a hole play competition is played over a longer period of time, the match management shall determine the time limit within which each round must be completed. If the players are allowed to freely agree the date of their hole play within these time limits, the match director should announce that the hole play must be played at the fixed time on the last day of the time limit, unless the players agree on an earlier date."².
The match director determines the flight composition in advance of a golf tournament. The golf rules allow different golf flights. The same handicaps can go on the round together or, for example, the high-medium-low mode can be used. This means that a good flight plays together with a medium and a high handicap. Of course, playing groups, so-called flights, are also permitted, in which ladies and gentlemen play the round of golf together.
