Golf club and golf course in Koblenz / Bad Ems: The Mittelrheinischer Golfclub Bad Ems e.V. was founded back in 1938 and is now one of the most traditional golf courses in Germany. The 18-hole course of the golf club is situated in absolute seclusion, in the middle of the Rhineland, about 370 m above the steeply sloping Rhine and Lahn valleys. Old trees and fantastic views of the Rhineland low mountain range, the Hunsrück, the Eifel and the Westerwald characterize the golf course, which was built in 1928 and "face-lifted" by the well-known golf architect Thomas Himmel.
