Golf club and golf course in Kiel / Honigsee: The golf course of the Kieler Golf Club Havighorst, opened in 1996, is situated in the typical Holstein end moraine landscape between moors and hills. The water hazards, bunkers and many slopes require concentrated play from boogie and scratch players. The clubhouse is housed in a heavily timber-framed building constructed in 1904 and renovated for golfers. The highlight is the fireplace corner with a "real" fire and comfortable, rustic armchairs.
