Golf club and golf course in Essen: The golf course of the Essener Turn- und Fechtklub dates back to 1962, when the first practice course for members interested in golf was built. Today, the golf section is an integral part of the club and its own 9-hole course on and around the grounds of the old Krupp dairy can certainly compete with other golf courses. Not least because of its historic location directly on Lake Baldeney and close to Villa Hügel, the former residence of the Krupp dynasty.
