Golf club and golf course in Münster / Steinfurt: Following the confiscation of the Münster Golf and Country Club site for military purposes during the Second World War, former club chairmen looked for a new site in 1950 on which to build the Golfclub Münsterland e.V.. They found what they were looking for around the historic castle grounds of Burgsteinfurt and today you will find a 9-hole course characterized by old trees and historic buildings.
